Autonomous drones from ČVUT that beat competition from all over the globe

Drones developed by a team from the Czech Technical University’s (ČVUT) Department of Cybernetics defeated 143 teams from schools like MIT or the University of Tokyo in a robotic competition in Abu-Dhabi. Against representatives from 35 countries, the Czech team took home a gold, a silver, and a bronze medal and was the only entrant to compete in every event.

Prof. Michal Pěchouček, who the Visegrad Fund named among the top 100 innovation leaders in new Europe in 2015, will present the team’s work and the technology behind it at the Festival Stage and join a panel discussion on synergies of AI, VR and IoT at the Conference.
